Are you insured?
Yes, we hold £5 million public liability cover. Our cover note can be viewed here.
How do I book?
Our booking form covers all the information we need. You can also contact us by telephone, text message, or by email, but we prioritise the booking forms we’ve received, so there’s no queue jumping!
Can you set up on artificial grass/astroturf/hard surfaces?
Technically yes, practically, no. We’d need just under a tonne of sandbags to meet the HSE requirements, which isn’t feasible. With artificial grass, we can stake through it into a soft surface underneath, but this will of course leave a hole, and we don’t accept responsibility for repairing these. On a safety note, if anyone is offering to set up outdoors with sandbags, their insurance won’t be valid – don’t use them!
What time do you deliver?
We deliver and collect via the most efficient route, typically delivering 7am – 12 noon and collecting from 4pm. We’re usually done by 8pm. While we try to accommodate party times we can’t guarantee it for outdoor/home hires (we guarantee times for hall/venue hires) and recommend you book overnight if 4pm isn’t late enough for your event.
Can you deliver through the house?
No. Residential doors & hallways are often too narrow to manoeuvre our equipment without damage to either your property or our equipment.
Can you deliver up/down the steps to my garden?
It depends. 3-5 steps is not normally a problem, but as our equipment is heavy and bulky, narrow steps and long stairs put our staff and equipment at risk of injury and damage. Direct, level access is ideal, but contact us with pictures and measurements and we’ll be able to advise on your specific circumstances.
Do the castles need to be monitored?
Yes, but not necessarily by us. For your own private hires a responsible adult needs to supervise any of our hired equipment when it is in use, or it needs to be secured when not in use. See under Rental Terms in the menu above for more detail.
How much notice do you need?
Usually the day before at the latest – deliveries start early and our bouncy castles do get booked up in advance, especially during the summer. If you’re in a fix call us and we may just have what you need available.
Is there an age limit?
No, however not all our castles are suitable for teenagers or adults. The details tab for each hire product specifies and age/height/user number limits.
What’s included in the price?
Our price includes everything you need for hire of a bouncy castle; delivery, set up and collection, safety matting, blower to inflate the castle, ground pegs or sandbags and public liability insurance.
When are they available?
Our castles are available any time, 7 days a week. You can contact us to discuss specific dates and times, we offer them on a first come, first served basis.
Can I keep the castle overnight?
Yes! We offer late/overnight collection for a small fee, provided it’s not already been booked for the following day. We offer a 20% discount a the second day’s hire, or a special rate for a full weekend hire. We would also need you to ensure the security of the hired equipment overnight and are happy to discuss this with you.
What’s the latest time you can pick it up?
We deliver and collect via the most efficient route, typically delivering 7am – 12 noon and collecting from 4pm. We’re usually done by 8pm. While we try to accommodate party times we can’t guarantee it for outdoor/home hires (we guarantee times for hall/venue hires) and recommend you book overnight if 4pm isn’t late enough for your event.
Do you charge a deposit?
We charge a non-refundable booking fee of £25 or 20% for larger/corporate hires that is offset against the total cost. More detail on deposits can be found on our Pricing, Deposits & Cancellations page.
What happens if it rains?
Most of our inflatables and electrical equipment are fitted with a sun/shower cover, so once you have dried any wet areas – including the front step and safety matting – you’re free to bounce again.
Can mixed ages/sizes use the bouncy castles?
Not at the same time, because the difference in size/weight can cause significant injuries – and we’re sure you’d prefer everyone to have fun and be safe. This is also a stipulation of our public liability insurance.
What do I need to provide?
Not much! We may need to see some Photo ID with a current address, such as a driving licence, to form part of the hire agreement. You’ll need to ensure there is access to power for the electric inflator, and a safe area to inflate the castle. More detail can be found in our Rental Checklist.
